Chapter 3: Been a Bit
I took quite the break from updating this blog, especially considering it's meant to serve as a journaling device. The thing is, I was still writing down a record of our gaming by hand. Then I noticed I had fallen a little bit behind on that as well. We played a couple of games of Villainous Disney with some friends and I didn't want to slow things down, so I didn't take the time to write anything down. For both of those games, the same friend won. She has gotten exceptionally good at the various games our larger friend group enjoys playing together. I was about to let the gap continue, but the Legendary DC and the second edition of the core set for Legendary Marvel arrived and I got hyped all over again as I sleeved the DC set. The one thing I'm not going to do (that I have done in the past) is beat myself up for taking the break. The blog serves as a journaling device and it serves its purpose well. I enjoy looking back through the posts and remembering the various moments shared mostly with my wife. More importantly, those moments didn't pause just because I took a break from journaling them digitally. Today's update was a big one. A handful of Legendary Marvel games, twice as many Villainous Disney games, and an update to how I title the different games. Additionally, the "Cumulative Statistics" sections for both Villainous games have been added and made up to date.
